The United States of America has spent over a billion dollars to create a
counterfeit proof currency. That goal is only as good as the use of the
tools now offered to make sure the money you take in is real. In other words,
it doesn’t matter how great or high tech the money is, if you, the receiver
of cash do not use the security features to prevent from receiving counterfeit
money, then the new system is a failure.
Make use of the security features to ensure
that our tax dollars were well spent!
All new money printed is done so with security features and the Treasury
expects to start circulating the new $1.00 bills with the same features. You
might also want to keep in mind that the more businesses and banks, use the
features and more and more counterfeit bills, the more likely that merchants
who are not informed and using the tools available to verify U.S. currency,
are those who will pay the price. The law says if you unknowingly pass a
counterfeit bill, that bill becomes the property of the U.S. government and
you, even though you were unaware, lose the value. You will pay if you don’t
inform and prepare yourself by using the features provided by the U.S. Treasury.
The Exposure Light is one good solution.
See U.S. Money Security Features and learn how to
identify and use them.
